Each fog device shows a single status icon in XProtect that encodes both its condition and whether it is armed. Outline = disarmed · solid = armed.

Priority state. Shows where the device is located; it is not operational on the platform - likely needs servicing.
OFFLINE
Network / serial communication problem. State is not updated; cannot be operated remotely.
FAULT
Hardware failure. The device is not operational, not even locally.
